Many of you are attracted by the shape, style and perhaps most importantly, price of the Freighter 600 box trailer and are then disappointed to find it's not quite big enough for your needs. We are therefore now starting to produce a budget priced Basic Freighter 700 . This 8ft x 4ft x 5ft 4 inch high box trailer is unbraked, single axle with a gross vehicle weight of 750kgs. Because this is one of the lightest 750kg gross weight box trailers on the market, you don't have to compromise on payload, which is 525kgs.
With this model we have dispensed with the four corner fenders although it has small handles at the front as illustrated in the main picture. As with the other versions of the Freighter 700 box trailer this trailer is on 13" wheels and includes full road lighting, jockey wheel and propstands. The body of one piece moulded glass reinforced plastic is mounted on a full galvanised steel chassis with full A frame and a full beam axle with independent rubber torsion suspension. The interior has a full height ply lining. A pressed steel lockable coupling is included as well as four tie down rings fitted to the interior.
As an introductory offer we are selling this trailer for £1895 including vat. The standard version has double van doors but there is also still the option of a ramp tailgate, sometimes preferred by those who want an enclosed motorcycle trailer.
